![]() Most of the table explains itself, I would say. Aything that drops in one drops in the other.ĮDIT: Ancient Doll and Bone Flute can also be found in fishing chests. The secret forest and the normal forest count as the same area. It's generated before the game saves your progress. Restarting the same day will not change anything about the worms. If not, restart the day and leave them be so they can have new treasure tomorrow. So the best way to find worm treasure is to go to the worms at the start of the day, see if they have what you want. Any worm that is not dug up will remain and have different treasure the next day, or there is a 15% chance it will disappear instead. So the maximum number of worms in an area is 3 worms (2 + 1) in most seasons, and 9 (4 + 5) in winter. In winter, the number is 5 instead of 2, and the location is good as long as it's a blank snow tile (both deep snow and "path snow" are ok) ![]() If the random location is not dirt, too bad. If there are less than 2 worms in a single area, the game will try to spawn 2 extra worms in that area, at the START of the day, in a random location. Only digging on the worm tiles will yield artifacts. Digging on the overworld will NOT yield artifacts. As long as you're fishing for actual fish, and not trash or plants, you always have the same chances for artifacts. The location of your fishing does not matter at all. There is a 15% chance to get a treasure chest while fishing, 15% more for the pirate perk and 15% more for treasure bobber. (except for the strange dolls, whose drop rate increases with luck) Luck will increase the chance you will get treasure chests with fishing, but it will NOT affect what is *in* the treasure chest. Luck will NOT affect your chance to get (better) loot from digging up dirt in the mines or from killing monsters. Luck will NOT affect what you will get from worms or from geodes. For example, certain artifacts can now be found on the farm as well. Also, the type of water you cast your rod into won't matter.WARNING: WIth the update that allows different farm types, there might be changes. Magic Bait: With this bait you'll be able to catch fish from any season, weather, time.Wild Bait: With this bait you'll have a chance of catching two fish at once, and the fish will bite faster.Magnet: This bait increases the chances of finding treasure when fishing. Moreover, using this bait also lowers your chances of catching trash instead of fish. Bait: With this one, you'll catch fish even faster since it decreases the time taken for fish to bite. The same process applies to the Crab Pot.īelow you'll find all the types of baits available in Stardew Valley. To attach bait to these rods, you have to open your inventory, click on the bait, and then left-click on the rod. Once you purchase a Fiberglass Rod or an Iridium one, you can start using bait when fishing by attaching the bait to the rod. Things like the type of fish you're catching, using bait or a tackle, your fishing skill, or the rod you're using will affect the fishing mini-game. Keep in mind that certain factors can make fishing easier. To catch a fish, all you have to do is maintain the small fish icon inside the green rectangle until the progress bar is filled. ![]() This one consist of a movable green rectangle that you control by repeatedly pressing the Use Tool button. Wait for a little until you hear a distinct sound and an exclamation point appears above your character this means a fish has bitten. ![]()
